Hello! Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop featuring the Art Gallery stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
The Stamp Review Crew is an international group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who gather for a blog hop the first, third, and (sometimes the fifth) Mondays of the month to review a single stamp set. The number of participants varies from hop to hop, but the ideas are plentiful as we take a stamp set through its paces. By the time you've traveled through the hop, you are sure to find a number of innovative ways to use the featured stamp set. So sit back, relax, and get ready to start pinning ideas to your Pinterest board!

If you've already joined the hop and are traveling forward, you've arrived from Betty's blog where you were presented with an amazing project to inspire your creativity. If you're traveling backwards through the hop, you've seen Mike's project and are ready to CASE! (Copy And Share Everything)
It's been a long while since I've hopped with the Stamp Review Crew and I'm excited to be back to sharing with you!
When I look at the Annual Catalog and the Mini Catalogs I'm always drawn to the floral image stamp sets. Then I ask myself: "Why on earth do I need yet another floral stamp set???" Well, this time I got sucked in to the wonderful floral potential of the Art Gallery stamp set.
This card begins with a panel of Basic White cardstock. Petal Pink ink was applied to the center area of the panel using a Blending Brush. Then the panel was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
The large flower image is a two-step stamping process. The more solid image was stamped on Basic White cardstock using Flirty Flamingo ink. Then the more detailed image was stamped over the Flirty Flamingo image using Poppy Parade ink. The leaf image was stamped on Basic White cardstock using Old Olive ink. The flower and leaf images were die cut using the corresponding dies from the Floral Gallery dies. The flower was adhered to the Basic White embossed panel using Stampin' Dimensionals. Then the leaf was adhered to the panel so that the base of the stem pointed toward the lower right corner of the card front. A group of the smallest of the Gold Glitter enamel dots were clusted at the flower center. A piece of Fine Art ribbon was adhered to the panel with the left end of the ribbon ending 3/4 of the way across the panel and the right end folded under and adhered to the back of the panel. The panel was adhered at the center of a slightly larger panel of Poppy Parade and then adhered at the center of the Flirty Flamingo card front.
The "Happy Birthday" sentiment was stamped on a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and die cut with the larger postage stamp rectangle from the Floral Gallery dies. The sentiment was adhered over the ribbon using Mini Glue Dots.
The leaf image was stamped at the upper left corner of a panel of Basic White cardstock using Old Olive ink. The large flower was stamped at the tip of the leaf stem using Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade inks as was used for the card front. The sentiment comes from the Happy Thoughts stamp set (I just LOVE this stamp set!) and was stamped immediately below the flower image using Poppy Parade ink. The panel was adhered, centered, at the inside sentiment area of the card base.
Finally, the leaf and flower images were stamped on the flap of the Basic White envelope using the same colors as before.
I hope you've been inspired by the project I made using the Art Gallery stamp set. Card measurements and supplies are listed below. However, if you entered the hop in the middle, just click here to move to the next stop. OR if you are traveling backwards through the hop, then click here to see Betty's project.
