Since there are 5 Monday's in the month of January, the Crew is conducting a Bonus Hop to feature the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. So rather than seeing ideas for one stamp set, you'll be seeing ideas for a whole bunch of them! My post will feature the Lots of Lavender stamp set.

One of the prettiest stamp sets available with this year's Sale-A-Bration offering is the Lots of Lavender stamp set. I need some Thank You cards, so I thought that I'd make a few using this stamp set.
When I think of Lavender, soft and soothing images come to mind. This card doesn't have whole lot of soft and soothing with the bright colors, does it? This card begins with stamping the lavender bunch image on Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The flower area was stamped using Sweet Sugarplum ink, the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist ink, and the ribbon with Dapper Denim ink. [Tip: This is a Photopolymer stamp set, so be sure to use the Stampin' Pierce Mat for best stamping results.] The entire image was cut out with Paper Snips. The flower area was stamped again on another piece of Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, the flower area stamped with Sweet Sugarplum ink, and the flower area cut out with Paper Snips and adhered over the previously stamped flower area with Stampin' Dimensionals--moving the top flower area slightly to the right to create more depth.
The ribbon area was snipped off the stem using Paper Snips (leaving only the wrapped area) and the floral bunch was adhered at the center of a piece of Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Designer Series Paper was matted with a slightly larger piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. A piece of Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped ribbon was wrapped around the two pieces of cardstock and knotted over the Dapper Denim wrapped area of the lavender bunch.
The solid dot background, from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set, was used to randomly stamp along the edges of the Dapper Denim card front using Dapper Denim ink. The focal point was then adhered at the center of the card front.
The "thank you" image, from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, was stamped on a piece of Whisper White cardstock using Sweet Sugarplum ink. The image was punched with the Classic Label punch with the stamped image justified to the left. A piece of Sweet Sugarplum was punched with the Classic Label punch and adhered behind the punched Whisper White label with the Sweet Sugarplum label dropped slightly to the left and below the Whisper White label. The label was cut with Paper Snips 3/8" to the right of the "u" in "thank you" and the label adhered near the lower right corner of the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper with the bottom edge of the label approximately 1" above the bottom edge of the Designer Series Paper.
The inside sentiment area of the card was lined with a piece of Whisper White cardstock. The lavender bunch image was stamped near the lower left corner of the liner using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, the flower area stamped with Sweet Sugarplum ink, the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist ink, and the bow with Dapper Denim ink.
The lavender bunch was stamped again at the lower left front corner of the Medium Whisper White Envelope using the same process as used for the liner. The "thank you" image was stamped to the right of the ribbon using Sweet Sugarplum ink.
