Stamp Review Crew -- Christmas Quilt
12/17/2017
Hello! Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop featuring the Christmas Quilt stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
The Stamp Review Crew is an international group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who gather for a blog hop the first and third Mondays of the month to review a single stamp set. The number of participants varies from hop to hop, but the ideas are plentiful as we take a stamp set through its paces. By the time you've traveled through the hop, you are sure to find a number of innovative ways to use the featured stamp set. So sit back, relax, and get ready to start pinning ideas to your Pinterest board!
To see the line up of artists for this week's hop, click here. If you've already joined the hop and are traveling forward, you've arrived from Debra's blog where you were presented with an amazing project to inspire your creativity. If you're traveling backwards through the hop, you've seen Ann's stunning project and are ready to CASE! (Copy And Share Everything)
I had hoped to have more than one project to share with you today; however, the demands of the season got the best of me, so I'll be sharing a card I designed for my annual Christmas Card classes. This card was a huge hit because it was so bright and happy but amazingly simple to make.
In addition to the Christmas Quilt stamp set, elements of this card include the Quilt Builder Framelits dies and Quilt Top Textured Impressions embossing folder for the Big Shot, the Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, and the Real Red 1/8" Solid ribbon.
The inside of the card features some simple stamping.
And the envelope flap of the Medium Whisper White Envelope was embossed with the Quilt Top Textured Impressions embossing folder--this time with the bumps facing up.
Supplies I used to make this card --
Stamps: Christmas Quilt; Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Garden Green, Real Red; Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Garden Green; Designer Series Paper: Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper; Embellishments: Real Red 1/8" Solid ribbon; Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots; Tools: Stampin' Trimmer, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Big Shot w/Multipurpose Platform and/or Magnetic Platform, Quilt Builder Framelits, Quilt Top Textured Impressions embossing folder; Other: Medium Whisper White Envelope
Card Measurements --
Thick Whisper White: 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2" along the 11" length, 3" x 3", 3/4" x 3"; Garden Green: 3-1/2" x 4-3/4", 2-1/4" x 2-1/4"; Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper: 3" x 3"; Real Red 1/8" Solid ribbon: 8"

Awww, lovely little details. I love the embossing folder used in the debossed fashion - perfect option for simulated quilt stitching.

Mickey this is adorable! I like how you stamped the inside so simple but cute and embossing the envelope flap so cool! I've never seen that before I don't think I can't wait to try that out!
