Stamp Review Crew -- Beautiful You
10/01/2017
Hello! Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop featuring the Beautiful You stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
The Stamp Review Crew is an international group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who gather for a blog hop the first and third Mondays of the month to review a single stamp set. The number of participants varies from hop to hop, but the ideas are plentiful as we take a stamp set through its paces. By the time you've traveled through the hop, you are sure to find a number of innovative ways to use the featured stamp set. So sit back, relax, and get ready to start pinning ideas to your Pinterest board!

If you've already joined the hop and are traveling forward, you've arrived from Mike's blog where you were presented with an amazing project to inspire your creativity. If you're traveling backwards through the hop, you've seen Linda's project and are ready to CASE! (Copy And Share Everything)
I have two projects to share with you.
The Beautiful You stamp set contains some lovely line drawings that lend themselves to a wide variety of creative treatments. The projects I created for this hop feature paper piecing and two-step stamping. This first project uses the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper to paper piece the dress and umbrella and for the background layer.
Supplies I used to make this card --
Stamps: Beautiful You; Inks: Early Espresso; Cardstock: Early Espresso, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla; Designer Series Paper: Painted Autumn; Embellishments: Gold Metallic Edge ribbon, Metallic Enamel Shapes; Adhesives: Fast Fuse; Tools: Stampin' Trimmer, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips
My second project features two-step stamping with the addition of the Daisy Delight Stamp set for the daisy and leaves and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper for the background.
Supplies I used to make this card --
Stamps: Beautiful You, Daisy Delight; Inks: Basic Black Archival, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Soft Suede; Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Whisper White; Designer Series Paper: Delightful Daisy; Embellishments: Old Olive Mini Chevron ribbon; Adhesives: Fast Fuse, Stampin' Dimensionals; Tools: Stampin' Trimmer, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, 1/2" circle punch, Daisy punch, Decorative Ribbon Border punch, Big Shot w/Magnetic Platform, Layering Ovals Framelits
I'll be sharing the how-to's for these projects very soon, so be sure to return to see the liners for the inside sentiment areas for each of these projects and the coordinating decorated envelopes.
