Inky Friends Inking Up The Season Blog Hop -- Snowflake Sentiments

Banner

Welcome to the Inky Friends Fall Projects Blog Hop.  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who have gathered to introduce you to the Winter-themed products from the Holiday Catalog.  To see the line up of Stampin' Up! artists participating in the hop, click here.  If you are traveling forward through the hop, you've arrived from Sarah's blog where she featured projects using the Brightly Lit Christmas stamp set.  If you are traveling backwards through the hop, you just saw some great projects made by Yapha using the Seasonal Lanterns stamp set.  It really doesn't matter which way you travel through the blog hop, though; all the blogs are linked in a circle and eventually you'll visit all the stops by clicking on the NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons contained in every blog post.  I hope you enjoy your travels!

I have two projects to share with you featuring the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and the coordinating Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits for the Big Shot.  I love the beautiful sentiments included with the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and the Swirly Snowflake Thinlits are just amazing!

My first project uses the stamp set and Thinlits along with the gorgeous Year of Cheer Specialty DSP.  It was really hard to get a good picture with all the sparkle and shine on this card.

Supplies I used to make this project --

Stamps:  Snowflake Sentiments; Inks:  Basic Black Archival; Cardstock:  Basic Black, Gold Foil Sheets, Thick Whisper White, Whisper White; Designer Series Paper:  Year of Cheer Specialty; Embellishments:  Silver Metallic Edge ribbon; Adhesives:  Fast Fuse, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals; Tools:  Stampin' Trimmer, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Everyday Label punch, Big Shot w/Multipurpose Platform, Swirly Snowflake Thinlits

The last few weeks have been rather crazy with taking care of some life change things for my Mom and then this week she was in the hospital.  So I was unable to make additional projects for the hop.  However, I made another card recently using this stamp set and Thinlits so I thought I'd add it here.  If you look for a blog post on September 1st, you'll find all the details for making this card.
