Stamp Review Crew -- Thoughtful Banners
05/14/2017
Hello!
Hello! Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop featuring the Thoughtful Banners stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!
The Stamp Review Crew is an international group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who gather for a blog hop the first and third Mondays of the month to review a single stamp set. The number of participants varies from hop to hop, but the ideas are plentiful as we take a stamp set through its paces. By the time you've traveled through the hop, you are sure to find a number of innovative ways to use the featured stamp set. So sit back, relax, and get ready to start pinning ideas to your Pinterest board!
To see the line up of artists for this week's hop, click here. If you've already joined the hop and are traveling forward, you've arrived from Sue Plote's blog where you were presented with an amazing project to inspire your creativity. If you're traveling backwards through the hop, you've seen Heidi Baks' project and are ready to CASE! (Copy And Share Everything)
I have three projects to share with you.
It's been a while since I took the opportunity to get my "grunge" on; so I took the opportunity with this Father's Day card.
Supplies I used for this project --
Stamps: Thoughtful Banners, Badges & Banners, Gorgeous Grunge; Inks: Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, Early Espresso, Emerald Envy; Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, Early Espresso, Emerald Envy, Very Vanilla; Designer Series Paper: Moroccan; Embellishments: 5/8" Burlap ribbon, Metallics Sequin Assortment; Adhesives: Fast Fuse, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Fine Tip Glue Pen; Tools: Stampin' Trimmer, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Sponge, Best Badge punch, Duet Banner punch, Classic Label punch
When I first saw this stamp set and the Classic Label punch, I thought of the sign post from the movie and television show "Mash".
Supplies I used for this project --
Stamps: Thoughtful Banners, Hardwood; Inks: Calypso Coral, Dapper Denim, Early Espresso, Soft Sky; Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla; Designer Series Paper: By the Shore; Embellishments: Dapper Denim Ruched ribbon; Adhesives: Fast Fuse, Mini Glue Dots; Tools: Stampin' Trimmer, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Sponge, Classic Label punch
I really love the lace prints included with the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper and wanted to incorporate them into a pretty card.
