Gratitude -- Stampin' Addicts Spring Catalog Blog Hop Follow-up

Happy Saturday!

My final project from the Stampin' Addicts Spring Catalog Blog Hop is a Thank You card.  I think this card has a bit of an Art Deco look to it.

This card begins with a Summer Starfruit card base.  Two pieces of Midnight Muse tone-on-tone striped paper from the 2012-2014 In Color Designer Series Paper Pack were cut into one inch strips and adhered along the top half of the card front leaving approximately 1/4 inch between the top of the paper strip and the card fold and between the two paper strips.  A piece of Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta ribbon was wrapped around the card front immediately below the fold and knotted on the card front.

The lined overlapping circles banner from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set was stamped four times on Whisper White cardstock using Midnight Muse ink and die cut in the Big Shot with the corresponding Hearts a Flutter Framelits.  The banners were adhered to the card front, below the ribbon, using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The blank ticket image, from the That's the Ticket stamp set, was stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Summer Starfruit ink, cut out with Paper Snips, and adhered to a Midnight Muse ticket punched with the large ticket part of the Ticket Duo Builder punch.  The "gratitude" image, from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set, was stamped at the center of the stamped ticket using Midnight Muse ink.  The ticket was adhered near the lower right corner of the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

A piece of Whisper White cardstock was matted with a piece of Midnight Muse cardstock to create a liner for the inside sentiment area of the card.  Strips of Summer Starfruit cardstock were adhered along the top and bottom edges of the liner.  Slightly wider strips of Midnight Muse tone-on-tone stripe paper were adhered along the edges of the Summer Starfruit strips.

The lined overlapping circles banner image was stamped at the lower left front corner of the Medium Whisper White envelope using Summer Starfruit ink.  The "gratitude" image was stamped over the banner image using Midnight Muse ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit.  I really enjoyed creating projects with the That's the Ticket stamp set for the Stampin' Addicts Spring Catalog Blog Hop.  If you haven't journeyed through the hop to see some wonderful projects using the great new products from the Spring Catalog, it's not too late!  You can begin at my blog here and follow the links to progress in a circle through the hop.

Have a great weekend!

The Starfruit is so awesome with the Midnight Muse. Hmmmm...may need to take another look at that color.

Such an elegant card! Those colors are really classy together. I like how you made the envelope match, too.

Very pretty! I like the ticket punch on this card.

I would not have thought Thank You with this set, but this is modern and elegant and definitely a Thank You!

I love the stamp on top of the ticket. If I hadn't seen it I would never have thought of doing that! TFS!!
