Hello!

Boy, do I love Spring in Florida!  A cold front came through over the weekend and brought us some relief from the heat of the last couple of weeks and the weather is glorious!  Bright blue skies, a gentle breeze, and temperatures in the 70s.  What's not to like?  Well, the high pollen counts from the oak tassels--but we won't go into that.  After a while you get used to the yellow haze all over everything...

I just finished bagging the last of the workshop orders from my February workshops and I have to say that I'm so thankful for the Hostesses and the wonderful folks who supported them.  Thanks to Stampin' Up!s great Sale-A-Bration promotion, both the Hostesses and their guests were able to earn lots of perks and they were pretty tickled with the results.  Before I get to the projects that they made at the workshops, here's the Thank You card I tucked into each of their merchandise bags.

This card begins with a card base of Calypso Coral; the edges of the card front sponged with Soft Suede ink.  A panel of Pool Party cardstock was also sponged with Soft Suede ink before a piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (the edges also sponged with Soft Suede ink) was attached to the lower half of the cardstock panel.  Attached to the top half of the Pool Party panel is a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock embossed with the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate (large polka dots), the edges sponged with Soft Suede ink, and the Soft Suede sponge lightly brushed across the embossed polka dots to bring them into higher relief.  A length of a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock was punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch and the edges of the cardstock sponged with Soft Suede ink.  The cardstock was adhered across the center of the panel to cover the seam between the Very Vanilla cardstock and the Designer Series Paper.  A piece of Lucky Limeade 3/8" Ruffled ribbon was wrapped around the panel, centered over the Calypso Coral cardstock, and knotted near the right side of the panel.  The panel was adhered to the card front.

The focal point begins with a cute floral Thank You stamp from the Easy Events stamp set.  The image was stamped first on a piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper using Early Espresso ink.  The stamp was cleaned and then inked with Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Markers and stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  The flowers stamped onto the Designer Series Paper were cut out and adhered over the flowers stamped onto the Very Vanilla cardstock.  The Very Vanilla cardstock was adhered inside a Lucky Limeade frame created by using the Big Shot and the Designer Frames Textured Impressions rectangular embossing folder.  The cardstock was trimmed close to the frame and the edges sponged with Soft Suede ink.  The frame was adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment area of the card was lined with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock; the edges sponged with Soft Suede ink.  The length of a piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper was punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch and the edges of the paper sponged with Soft Suede ink before the paper was adhered along the bottom of the Very Vanilla cardstock.

The stamp was cleaned one more time and the image was inked with Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, and Pool Party Stampin' Write Markers then stamped at the lower left front corner of the Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.
