Are YOU a Stampin' Addict?
Dots, Shine and Bling

Friends and Neighbors

Hello!  Thanks for stopping by to visit.

It's hard to believe that it's already March!  Where is the time going so quickly?  This weekend I conducted a workshop for Sheila and her friends.  What a lively and fun group!  Today's post focuses on one of the projects we made during that workshop.

The card design was inspired by a sketch I saw on Sandi MacIver's blog.  The stamp set choice was made to recognize the visit of some dear friends and former neighbors (they are escaping their home in Cumberland, MD, for a warmer climate; I certainly hope that the warm climate shows up for them while they are here!).

The great thing about this card and envelope is that they are quick and easy to make using simple stamping techniques, a little bit of cutting, and layering using a few punches.  The houses and tree stamp images come from the Good Neighbors Stamp Set and the decorative paper comes from the Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper pack.  One or both of these items is available to you FREE until March 31, 2010, during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration promotion with every $50 in merchandise you order from Stampin' Up!  In fact, these are only two of the more than 80 items you can choose from!  Sheila and her friends were quick to take advantage of the Sale-A-Bration opportunity.  AND thanks to her friends, Sheila was able to choose an additional Sale-A-Bration item because her workshop merchandise sales exceeded $300!

Be sure to take advantage of the Sale-A-Bration by booking your workshop today!  If you live on Florida's Space Coast, I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your friends!
