Last week, as I was preparing for my Stamp Club meetings, I realized that Easter was only a few weeks away. Holy Cow! So I dug through my stack of stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog and found the Sweet Little Something stamp set with its adorable photo-realistic bunny. Lucky for me, there's a "Happy Easter" greeting included in the stamp set.
I have always been drawn to bunnies. I just love the soft and sweet look of them; whether they are real or stuffed. This stuffed bunny is just adorable and looks like it's just waiting for someone to come pick it up to cuddle.
This card begins with a card base of Pink Pirouette cardstock. A panel of paper from the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper was matted with a slightly larger piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and attached at the center of the card front.
A piece of Very Vanilla cardstock was stamped with the fine detail bunny image using Flirty Flamingo ink. The medium detail bunny image was stamped over the fine detail bunny using Powder Pink ink. The solid bunny image was stamped over the fine detail and medium detail bunny images using Pink Pirouette ink. Because I was using this stamp set for my Stamp Clubs over the weekend, I would have needed three (3) size E Clear Blocks. Since I only have two size E Clear Blocks and was using one for another project, I needed to come up with an alternate way to stamp the bunny. Then I remembered I have a Stamparatus! Problem solved AND a great opportunity to introduce this great new tool to my Stamp Club members.
The Very Vanilla cardstock was matted with a slightly larger piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock and then adhered at the center of a slightly larger piece of Gold Glimmer Paper using Stampin' Dimensionals. The focal point was then adhered to the card front with the top, left, and right edges of the Gold Glimmer Paper 1/4" from the top, left, and right edges of the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. A bow created with a piece of the Gold Love Mini Tinsel Trim was adhered at the neck of the bunny using a rolled up Mini Glue Dot.
The "Happy Easter" greeting was stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using Flirty Flamingo ink. The greeting was matted with a slightly larger piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock and adhered below the focal point with the bottom edge of the Pink Pirouette cardstock 1/4" above the bottom edge of the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.
The inside sentiment area of the card was lined with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. The "Hip Hop Hooray!" sentiment was stamped at the upper center of the liner using Flirty Flamingo ink. The large, medium, and small flower images were randomly stamped to the left of the sentiment using Pink Pirouette, Powder Pink, and Flirty Flamingo inks, respectively. A narrow strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock was adhered behind the top edge of a piece of Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered along the bottom edge of the liner.
The "Happy Easter" greeting was stamped at the lower left corner of the Medium Very Vanilla Envelope using Flirty Flamingo ink. The large, medium, and small flower images were randomly stamped around the greeting using Pink Pirouette, Powder Pink, and Flirty Flamingo inks, respectively.
Not all the members of the Stamp Clubs wanted to make an Easter Card, so some used the new baby greetings and sentiments instead to create a card for a sweet little girl.
