Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop for 2017. To see a line up of the blog hop participants, click here. The hop runs in a loop, so by clicking on the next or previous buttons below, you'll be able to visit all the blog sites to see all the great ideas using a number of Sale-A-Bration items (and a few from the Occasions Catalog, too!).
Sale-A-Bration is my favorite part of the Stampin' Up! year because it's all about earning stuff for FREE!! Sale-A-Bration begins on January 4th and runs through the end of March so you'll have plenty of time to decide which of the 12 items in the Sale-A-Bration brochure you'd like to earn. This year the selection is pretty diverse between stamp sets, Designer Series Paper, ribbons, a card tin, and a card kit. AND, many of the items that you can earn for FREE coordinate with some of the great new items featured in the Occasions Catalog (which also begins on January 4th). In the US, you can select one Sale-A-Bration item for every $50 in merchandise you purchase--and if your Wish List for the Occasions Catalog is anything like mine, you can earn more than one Sale-A-Bration item pretty quickly. Beginning January 4th, you'll find the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure on the sidebar of my blog page.
For this blog hop, I'll be featuring the Any Occasion photopolymer stamp set (page 14 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure). I have two projects to share with you. The first is a Thank You card. This time of year, I need bunches of Thank You cards for all the great gifts I received during the holidays. I want them to be eye-catching, but since I have so many to make, I want the design to be simple.
Stamps: Any Occasion (SAB); Inks: Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Memento Tuxedo Black; Cardstock: Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, Watercolor paper, Gold Foil Sheets; Designer Series Paper: Playful Palette Stack; Embellishments: Metallic Enamel Shapes; Adhesives: Fast Fuse, Stampin' Dimensionals; Tools: Stampin' Trimmer, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Aqua Painter
My second project features a die cut focal point using the Baby's First Framelits and a fun fold to make a gift card holder for new parents.
The gift card is tucked behind the onesie and uses the Classic Label punch to make the slot.
